Help Wanted for "Genes and Blood Clotting" Study |

Why?
The purpose of this study is to improve our understanding of genes that influence blood clotting and other common traits such as eye and hair color.
|

Who?
We are looking for healthy siblings (brother(s)/sister(s)) between the ages of 14-35 years who can participate in an on-line survey and have their blood drawn at the Life Sciences Institute located on the main campus of the University of Michigan. If you are between 14-17 years of age, you must have permission from one of your parents/guardians to participate in this study. This study is approved by the University of Michigan Institutional Review Board, and participants must review and agree to an informed consent form.

How?
In order to determine if you are eligible, you first need to answer a few questions. By answering these questions you are providing your consent for us to review this initial information. If you are eligible you will have a chance to review the consent for the entire study. Each individual will be financially compensated for participating in the study. |
